Introduced in an alternate timeline as the Phoenix, where it was assigned to Atlantis. The fifth Daedalus-class ship constructed, participated in the battle against the Super-hive. The fourth Daedalus-class ship constructed, assigned to the Second Tactical Wing in the Pegasus Galaxy until 2009. Unfortunately, the ship was short-lived as it was destroyed in the Battle of P3Y-229. Given to Russia by the USA in exchange for continued use of their Stargate. Now being powered by a Zero Point Module, it has many Asgard upgrades due to the fact that the Asgard installed many of their technologies on board the ship before committing mass suicide. Paul Emerson, then Samantha Carter, then Ian Davidson, Henry Landry, then Cameron MitchellĮarth's flagship, the Odyssey became the backbone of Earth's defense after the destruction of the Prometheus. The first of its class, assigned to the Fast Attack Wing in the Pegasus Galaxy until 2009. It was eventually destroyed by an Ori satellite over the planet, Tegalus, resulting in the death of her C.O, Colonel Lionel Pendergast and thirty-nine personnel assigned to the ship. Carried eight F-302 fighter-interceptors. Hammond, then Lionel PendergastĮarth's first attempt at constructing a vessel capable of engaging a Goa'uld Ha'tak. Continues to be used to this day and is constantly deployed from various ships. The F-302 fighter-interceptor is the production model of the X-302 hyperspace fighter, an air and space superiority vehicle operated by the United States Air Force and Russian Federation. Various/Numerous, including Cameron Mitchell, John Sheppard, Evan Lorne. Destroyed during the Stargate SG-1 Season 6 episode, Redemption, Part 2. The X-302 hyperspace fighter was Earth's second try at constructing a combat-capable spacecraft (now successfully) at developing a plane using recovered alien technology at Area 51. It was ultimately left abandoned in space after falling victim to Apophis's Recall device. The X-301 Interceptor was the Tau'ri's first attempt at developing a space-based combat vessel capable of engaging the Goa'uld. ( SGA: " The Siege, Part 1") ( SG1: " Unending") These ships rival those of most races and have helped establish the Tau'ri as a major military power in both the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxies. These ships are among the most advanced creations in the Tau'ri's possession and represent the ultimate culmination of everything the Stargate Program sought to achieve - the acquisition of technology capable of defending Earth from its enemies. Since their creation, numerous BC-304s have been constructed. With the assistance of the Asgard, the Tau'ri were able to develop their most advanced ship to date, the Daedalus-class battlecruiser. ( SG1: " Enemy Mine", " Moebius, Part 1") Though plans were made to construct an entire fleet of BC-303s, the introduction of the Daedalus-class battlecruisers in 2005 ultimately rendered the craft obsolete, leaving the Prometheus as the sole vessel in its class as the Daedalus class battlecruisers were far superior to the Prometheus in terms of technology and weaponry. It played a major role in both the Tau'ri-Goa'uld war and Ori crusade until it was ultimately destroyed in a battle over Tegalus in 2006. Despite this, the Prometheus represented a massive step in the Tau'ri's development. While the F-302 is generally sufficient to successfully challenge its alien equivalent, the Prometheus was still inferior to the highest classes of battlecruiser operated by most other prominent races in the galaxy. It was not long before Earth was able to create its first interstellar battlecruiser, the Prometheus, introduced in 2003. So now it's time to devote our resources to exploiting those technologies for planetary defense, namely by building more Daedalus-class ships." ― Senator Fisher " The Stargate Program has succeeded in acquiring alien technology.
